Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA)
CHEA is a non-profit organization serving as the national advocate for self-regulation through accreditation. Institutional membership is limited to nationally or regionally accredited colleges or universities. www.chea.org
American Council on Education (ACE)
ACE is the only higher education organization that represents presidents and chancellors of all types of United States accredited, degree-granting institutions. This cross-sector membership enables ACE to serve as higher education's unifying voice. www.acenet.edu
Council for Adult and Experiential Learning (CAEL)
CAEL is a national non-profit organization which creates and manages effective learning strategies for working adults through partnerships with employers, higher education, the public sector, and labor. www.cael.org
National Association of State Directors of Teacher Education and Certification (NASDTEC)
NASDTEC represents professional standards boards, commissions, and state departments of education in all fifty states, the District of Columbia, the Department of Defense Education Activity, the U.S. Territories, Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario that are responsible for the preparation, licensure, and discipline of educational personnel. www.nasdtec.org
The Great Books Foundation
The Great Books Foundation is an independent, non-profit educational organization whose mission is to provide people of all ages with the opportunity to read, discuss, and learn from outstanding works of literature. Founded in 1947 by Robert Maynard Hutchins, then president of the University of Chicago, and philosopher and scholar Mortimer Adler, the Foundation was established to encourage lifelong learning for all citizens. As part of a grass-roots movement to promote continuing education beyond the classroom, the Foundation aimed to provide opportunities for all Americans to participate in a "Great Conversation" of some of the world's best writing. www.greatbooks.org

DANTES and Veteran's Educational Benefits
