The Great Books Foundation…

The Great Books Foundation is dedicated to helping people learn how to think and share ideas by educating them to become participants in, leaders of, and advocates for Shared Inquiry. Through text-based discussion, Shared Inquiry strengthens critical thinking and civil discourse, promotes reading and the appreciation of literature, and provides people of all ages with a powerful instrument for social engagement and lifelong learning. The Great Books Foundation offers people of all ages an exciting way to read and discuss outstanding works of literature.

Because discussion is the heart of the curriculum at Harrison Middleton University, the university supports The Great Books Foundation and its efforts to create the most active of learning environments through the Shared Inquiry method. The university offers one (1) semester credit hour of Continuing Education Graduate Credit for succesful completion of the T100 Core Sequence Workshop. The continuing education graduate credit fee is $75.00 per credit hour. The requiremens for earning the continuing education graduate credit include the applicant's full attendance and participation in the T100 Core Sequence Workshop.

To earn credit for the T100 Core Sequence Workshop, a completed application form and fee payment should be mailed or faxed to Harrison Middleton University Continuing Education Center, 1105 East Broadway Road, Tempe, AZ 85282 or Fax: 1.800.762.1622. Applicants must submit verification of attendance with the application form. Applicants may send a copy of the T100 Core Sequence Workshop completion certificate or provide the nine-digit workshop course number. Upon receipt of the completed application and fee, the university will mail an official transcript to the address provided.
